Assembled shielded network cable of category 8 with shielded RJ-45 connectors on both sides for data rates up to 40 Gigabit per second. Suitable as a manoeuvring cable in patch panels or as a device connection cable and intended for use in the LAN. • Assembled shielded twisted pair patch cable • With shielded RJ-45 connectors on both sides • For use in 40 Gigabit Ethernet networks • Slim (slim): low cable outer diameter of only 3.8 ± 0.2 mm. • Injected kink protection. • Cat.8.1 (=Cat.8 Class I), suitable for 10 to 40 Gbps • Impedance: 100 ohms. • Contact assignment: 1:1 according to EIA/TIA568, 8 wires • Construction: 8 wire strands, shielding in pairs with aluminium laminated polyester film. • Gold-plated contacts • Halogen-free, flame-retardant, low smoke (LS0H). Category 8, the standard for next-generation twisted pair cabling enables up to four times faster transfer of data on the same type of cabling and supports 25GBASE-T and 40GBASE-T applications for short distances. Our Cat.8 cables are all halogen free and flame retardant (LSOH).
